Message | Were do the girl scouts get their cookies from? They dont home make it, they get it from a corporation. That corporation will have a license and girl scouts will still be able to sell cookies. |

Message | Coockies are food, and food may be sold by licensed vendors only. Thus, they will need a license. Otherwise any retail salesman can say they don't need a license because he doesn't make the good but gets them from a wholesaler, who in their turn can argue they got their merchandise from a big distribution depot.. In other words, the production of foods needs to be controled! That's why we have already a bill that states the government introduces, and actively enforces, food standards provisions. Though the shelf live is the responsability of the vendor. Therefore we want to keep the current law. |

Message | Cookies are food yes but all I am saying is that if someone wants to sell food, they get a licence showing that they can sell food. A license isnt something hard to get, it is just making it more safe. |

Message | Then what's teh purpose? Just getting a paper stamped because of no reason at all, that's bureaucracitc nonsence. It is not getting safer, we've got food standards in the production, and the vendors are responsible for the shelf lives. |
