Message"The Social Liberal Party stands by it's position that this government is intent on playing Russian roulette with the economy. There are two issues that we disagree with here. First this new income tax system in comparison with the previous one will raise taxes by 15% for those who earn under 20 thousand DAR/year. Second we will lose roughly 20 billion DAR in tax revenue. 20 billion that we feel should be employed into making secondary and post secondary education progressively free for all citizens." - Guy Verhofstadt, Leader of the SLP.
