From | Txurruka/Aperribai/Mayoz's OPX | To | Debating the Motto of Baltusia | Message | Ive always wondered what "E pluribus, libertas" means...
Does it have to be in Latin? What's wrong with English? What about something humorous? |

From | Democratic Socialists | To | Debating the Motto of Baltusia | Message | There's nothing wrong with the motto as it is... "E Pluribus, Libertas" - "Out of many, freedom"... it was one of the things passed at the beginning of the Republic of Baltusia, and we feel strongly that it should remain. |

From | Progressive Conservative Party | To | Debating the Motto of Baltusia | Message | We wondered... out of many what? Ours would be more clear... tradition for traditions sake is illogical. In addition 'a new cycle of ages' implies continuity for our country and a forwards looking mentality. |

From | Democratic Socialists | To | Debating the Motto of Baltusia | Message | Out of many regions, many people, many dreams, many ideals; the multitude tat is Baltusia. We are equally opposed to tradition for tradition's state, but we feel that this change is not necessary, as the motto is not out of date. |

From | Hosengott Nationalists | To | Debating the Motto of Baltusia | Message | Indeed we must somehow make everything light and so fourth must we not we do agree something in english would be better for the common mind though we are in favour of none of the nonsence of "Baltusia Rocks" also staying with this tired old senceless motto is redundant |

From | Hosengott Nationalists | To | Debating the Motto of Baltusia | Message | We still feel it must be changed to something that can be understood by all and be thought of with pride |

From | Democratic Socialists | To | Debating the Motto of Baltusia | Message | The proper penalty of ignorance, according to Plato, is that those who do not know should be taught by those who do. People who do not understand, can learn. We feel that liberty is something to be thought of with pride. |

From | Txurruka/Aperribai/Mayoz's OPX | To | Debating the Motto of Baltusia | Message | OOC: Nations should start claiming these things though. Perhaps there was no Plato but who's to say that there wasn't an equivalent in our world. Maybe he was Baltusian... |
