Bill: Canton Library Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Telamon Royalist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2294
Description[?]:
We believe that maintaining a federal library system is overly bureaucratic, when the cantons know what their own citizens want and need in the way of public libraries better than Ferescia does, anyway. However, we also need to make certain that everyone HAS access to a library. Therefore, we propose handing control of the libraries over to the cantons, but providing the five Cantons with the financial resources to continue their operations. |
Proposals

Old value:: The national government controls a vast and comprehensive system of public libraries.
Current: The national government controls a vast and comprehensive system of public libraries.

Those who go against the Revolution, go against human progress and must be freed in the most humane way possible. That is why we introduced the guillotine." - Maximus Robertson, former Davostani revolutionary |
