Description[?]:
Lusitania calls itself a democratic nation, yet how democratic can it be when 51% of its population is afforded inferior rights and is grossly under-represented in parliament? The GWP calls for the other major parties to ratify this law and remove some of the outstanding legal barriers repressing Lusitanian women. - Firstly, the right of a woman to control the reproductive actions of her body is paramount. We men take it for granted that we are at least the masters of our physical bodies. Why not so for women? The right to reproductive choice is essential to allow women to choose the size of their families, as well as to allow them to make informed life choices and avoid imprisonment by their biological functions. - We believe that the government's laissez-faire policy towards advertising allows sexist and misogynistic attitudes of women to be reinforced in Lusitanian society. Women are not objects for the pleasure of men, or vacuous housewives!! Let standards be introduced to show a wide, realistic representation of women on TV and billboards that Lusitanian women can be happy with. - Finally, the banning of women from service in the military - even after they have volunteered to serve in the services, is a sexist joke! If women want to serve and defend their country, let them! We all know that women have both the fighting capacity and strength to equal, or even better men in the field. We hope that both the PP and the Social Liberals will suport this progressive legislation that recognises the equal status of Lusitanian women. Adrian Brown, Green Workers Party |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
Random quote: Although I understand and respect the intentions behind the gesture, this is not something that is universally understood or appreciated, and it tends to give out a negative impression of our party. ~ Anton Weinreich, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party, pleading with his members to stop burning the national flag |
