Bill: Arms Rights Act Revisions
Details
Submitted by[?]: Kurohyou Syndicate
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2297
Description[?]:
We of the Kurohyou Syndicate propose a revision of Aldegar's Arms-Bearing rights. The current laws are not lax enough to allow for times in which citizens must protect themselves. The word "lax" may not be entirely the best word in the strictest meaning of the word, but we believe it is the most applicable word for this instance. |

Message | We like article 1, but article 3 is unnecesary in our opinion and article 2 is the exact opposite of our position on the matter (we believe that guns are inherently harmful and should be banned for those who do not have to use them for their job), so we would vote no. |
Date | 02:35:51, October 10, 2006 CET | From | Center-Right Coalition | To | Debating the Arms Rights Act Revisions |
Message | The Kurohyou Syndicate has displayed a much more moderate tendancy on gun control than the ASDP, and for that reason we are willing to hear further debate on this issue. |

Message | To the ASDP: So in the event that a mentally ill person or a person with a violent past happens to be in mortal danger, you would condemn them? That is not what we believe is in the best interest for our people. Those persons may have made mistakes, but they are still entitled to live. |

Message | No, we would not condemn them. What do you mean? That they're about to get shot? As a matter of fact, we think that all guns should be banned for people who don't have to use them for their job. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
