Message | Opposed. We think there should be a method of generating power which does not use fossil fuels, and as alternative fuels are not ready for widespread use yet, we will have to maintain nuclear power untill such time as alternative fuels are ready for widespread use. We can also continue research on how to make nuclear power plants safer. |
Date | 20:59:57, October 11, 2006 CET | From | Union of Work-Shy Elements | To | Debating the Nuclear Shutdown Act |
Message | To suggest that there are no alternatives to nuclear is an awful misrepresentation of the situation. Kundrati has vast renewable energy potential. Wind, tidal, solar and hydro generation are all common sense alternatives. The continued use of nuclear power is not sustainable, acceptable or economically viable. |

Message | Nuclear Power is clearner than any other means of power generation besides Solar, Wind, and Hydroelectric. |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
