Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2301
Description[?]:
The Centennial Manifesto is the most current guiding principle for the Federal Progressive Party. Launched by party leader George Moore in 2300, at the beginning of the new century, the Manifesto aims to prepare and bring the party into the rapidly-changing politics of the 24th century. This bill details the Manifesto's plans for religious freedom in Valruzia. In light of the many religions that Valruzians adhere to, this bill aims to allow all to practice the religion of their choice freely, and to stop the official bias towards one religion, which alienates Valruzians of other faiths and creates a source of conflict. Annex A: Religious Demographics of Valruzia Christianity (current state religion) - Christian Holiness Church - 12% - Terran Catholic Church - 12% - Quakers - 6% Buddhism - 30% Islam - 20% Atheism - 10% Judaism - 5% Other - 5% |

Message | No to article 2 but an overall yes. |
Date | 12:01:55, October 19, 2006 CET | From | True Valruzians | To | Debating the Centennial Manifesto - Religion |
Message | The current laws take into account all those recognised religions, ie the ones mentioned on the wiki. Having a voluntary state religion hardly restricts anyone from practicing their religion. More importantly, I am gobsmacked that one of those religious Bills I put to vote passed, how the hell? |
