Message | I'm disagreeing with both articles. As Karl Marx said, "Religion is the opiate of the masses." Of course, religion should not be eradicated, but it should not be encouraged- schools should remain secular. Also, religious profits should be taxed because it is generating revenue. Not taxing religious profits is unfair. |

Message | I agree... though as a side note I find it hilarious that the same parties that would wish to legalize actual opiates are the same that use Marx's quote (I believe the recreational drug laws have come up rather frequently). Schools should be allowed to generate revenue however this means they should also contribute back into taxes. The second article is just another attempt to throw someone else's beliefs into other people faces. |
