MessageI'm disagreeing with both articles. As Karl Marx said, "Religion is the opiate of the masses." Of course, religion should not be eradicated, but it should not be encouraged- schools should remain secular. Also, religious profits should be taxed because it is generating revenue. Not taxing religious profits is unfair.

MessageI agree... though as a side note I find it hilarious that the same parties that would wish to legalize actual opiates are the same that use Marx's quote (I believe the recreational drug laws have come up rather frequently). Schools should be allowed to generate revenue however this means they should also contribute back into taxes.

The second article is just another attempt to throw someone else's beliefs into other people faces.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.

Random quote: "Zardugal. . . very successfully almost managed to implement democracy on a global scale, a millennia ago. With a seat in the Security Council we can do it again." - Phoebe Ĥoniato, former Zardic politician
