Message | Article 3 - Agreed Article 4 - Agreed Article 5 - Agreed Article 6 -Nooooooooo.....disagree in entirity. The FPP is not willing to comprimise on this one either. There should never be a state religion, as this indicated that the nation itself is segragated, unfair and simply not as just as it should be. By supporting one religion over the rest, the state is in turn saying "we're biased towards one set of beliefs". This is clearly something that restricts justice, as a biased nation does not support all individuals equally. People deserve equality when it comes to rights. It goes hand and hand with freedom. If we are not all fundimentally on an equal playing field, how can people have the freedom to change their lives? Freedom is very important, as is equality. A government should not favour one religion over another. It's not right. People should have infinate rights to practice religion, but the state should not try to influence people's choice. Clearly, with the exception of articles 1 and 6, the FPP supports. However, in order to recieve the vote, articles 1 and 6 must be removed. |
