Message | With the current state of affairs, we feel that Keynesian economic policies are the solution of getting us out of the whole the Conservative Party has put us in. More spending in education, health and social services is required, to ensure that ALL Lusitanians are involved in the economy. Lusitania's permanent under-class and low social mobility is draining our economy, and for that we have this incompetent dogmatic and reactionary government to blame for. |

Message | 5% is good. If you want to reduce the taxes reduce from the income tax |
Date | 17:30:06, October 25, 2006 CET | From | Social Liberal Party | To | Debating the CP Sales Tax On Luxury Goods |
Message | The Social Liberal Party feels that taxes should be going up. The destruction of social protection has left many Lusitanians vulnerable and excluded from the economy. |
Date | 00:27:12, October 26, 2006 CET | From | Conservative Party | To | Debating the CP Sales Tax On Luxury Goods |
Message | We've cancelled the tax reduction on luxury goods to 2% and instead of it we have eliminated the income tax on incomes equal or below 30,000 DAR/year. Thus we reduce the surplus to less than 1,000,000,000 DAR and at the same time we isent of income taxes those who have lower incomes. |
Date | 14:35:06, October 26, 2006 CET | From | Social Liberal Party | To | Debating the CP Sales Tax On Luxury Goods |
Message | Without a progressive tax system all we are doing is giving more money to the wealthy and leaving lower income families exposed to the inherent risks of capitalism. Capitalism should come with a safety net and we currently do not have one. |

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
