Message | We oppose this. It would mean that if a foreign state allowed a man to marry five women, or allowed a man to marry an eleven-year-old, or to marry a horse, Aldegar would be compelled to recognise those marriages. That would be absurd - but marriages like all of these examples have been recognised from time to time by foreign powers. |
