MessageLook around. How many countries have football as a national sport. Many. Is this good? Sure, we can play football against them, but are we the followers? Baseball is a great sport and we can make a tournament. We can be the trend setters. We can be unique. We are not followers. That is not what Kirlawa is about. I will see this through. Baseball!!!!

MessageBaseball is an awful sport. Football was one of our first national sports I believe, and baseball has never - NEVER - been an important sport in Kirlawa. Football is one of our most proud sporting traditions, and we shouldn't change it just to be different!

MessageNo. You're right. We should change it because we are not about following trends?

MessageI refer the member to bill 126 in the international archives:
http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=126
Passed in 2020, it listed football as our sport.

MessageWell according to the link we have from the LPP, Football refers to two sports. Let's sort it out and have 1 sport at least. Baseball is a starting point and pass this then change it to a new sport.

MessageIt used to. Now, it refers to 'association football'.

The other kind is dead.

I'm putting forward the point there's no historical reason for baseball.

MessageWell, what you may call 'soccer' - Yes, Football the kind played with the feet. It is our national game by practice, and to change it would be a top down decree.

We might as well make it tiddlewinks

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current.
