| Message | The Social Liberal Party is still hoping that a majority could be reached with the cabinet proposal that has not yet expired. We lament the Conservative Party's reluctance to support a coalition government. In any we hope that the Conservative Party's eagerness to call for a new elections rather than negotiate, will backfire on them. Just like it did for the Portuguese Socialist Party when they called for a vote of no confidence that ended Cavaco Silva's minority government, only for him to be reelected with a majority. It is likely that the result will not differ much from the current parliaments numbers. What will the Conservative Party do then? |
