Message | Our view: Article 1 - we support moving away from central government enforced land redistribution. Our ideal policy would be to move this to the local level. However, if this were a separate bill, CU would have happily supported it because it is much better than the current policy. We disagree with the rest of the articles. Article 2 - we ideally support a compulsory public pension, with the option of a private one. This allows for the most choice. Article 3 - interesting topic, one that we've never dealt with yet during our time here. We do support some integration aid, providing those in dire circumstances to enter our nation with some degree of compassion and opportunity to fully participate in our free educational systems, free health services, open markets, and political institutions. So, we cannot support this proposal. Article 4 - we do not believe any religion should be taxed. CU does not support this, but we appreciate the URP for activating discussion and deliberations on these important topics. |
