Bill: Military and liberty reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Guds og Konges Kjemprene
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2310
Description[?]:
We have decided to get rid of some other Vánioka laws. Defense industrie should be regulated by private companies, for they will ensure a higher quality. Homosexuality shall not be tolerated in the military, so our men won't be distracted in battle by feelings stronger than merer friendship. The old Motto in the ridiculous Vánioka-language has to go. Instead we want to introduce a more selfconscious motto in old and traditional latin. We have to watch closely which refugees we help, because if we let everyone in, soon we'll be having a great rise of criminality. Generally, the sale of arms should be free, but we have to have a possibility to prohibit selling arms to our enemys, should we engage in war in the future. |

Message | article one sounds better other wise, despite the cost to our nation. |

Message | The cost isn't the point, I'm more worried about the quality. Quality will be higher, if private companies have to compete, because our military will only buy the better equipment. |

Message | But that also makes us more vulnerable to rebellions from the localized military, causing us to lose all power. |

Message | No, it doesn't. Military isn't localised, only the defence industries won't be national anymore. Our control over the military stays the same. |
