Message | we could easily agree on 2 and 3.. we however don't see the big problem with GM if it is done within limits and strictly regulated.. |
Date | 01:24:49, November 18, 2006 CET | From | New Monarchy Party | To | Debating the Environmental Conservation Act |
Message | The issue with GM is that if by cross-pollination all crops become GM, and then a problem develops with GM plants, there could be huge ramifications. Would you accept allowing heavily regulated research, while still banning their sale? |

Message | we should always allowe research when it doesn't hurt anyone. It can only gain information and get us to know more. So we would agree on it.. Isn't article 3 in a bill that we are currently voting for already? |

Message | LeChaim's bill came after mine. Since the leftist coalition can obviously pass it, I will remove it from here, make the change to art. I, then move this to vote. |

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play. |
