Bill: Introducing constituencial segregation policies
Details
Submitted by[?]: Hobrazian Peoples Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2319
Description[?]:
As it is seen that most of the population wishes to see some segregation policies we advice the parliament to let the local governing bodies in each constituency decide on segregation policies. We also would like to say that as we propose these meassures we understand the moral question of this agenda (the HPP usually promoting unitarist legislation). Therefore this decision should be taken as close to the population as possible and should be changed according to the decision in each constituency. Furthermore this could be interesting for the local constituency RP in the forum. :-) |
Proposals
Article 1

Old value:: Segregation is illegal in all educational institutions.

Message | Really? The people wish to see segregation policies? We would ask that the HPP show these results. We have conducted a brief search for this request but come up nought. We will not introduce segregation policies into our national educational establishments. One person has as much right to the same education as another and we will not support any act that attempts to remove rights from one group in favour of another within education. |
Date | 17:50:27, November 21, 2006 CET | From | First Party Of Hobrazia | To | Debating the Introducing constituencial segregation policies |
Message | This is ridiculous, each person in the nation should have an equal right to education. |
Date | 21:45:19, November 21, 2006 CET | From | Hobrazian Peoples Party | To | Debating the Introducing constituencial segregation policies |
Message | This tells not whether anyone is forbidden education. This only state that local governments have the ability to define segregation laws. The local government must still maintain the laws concerning education and others (actually they have to maintain all the laws in our country). How come segregation has something to do with education level? |
Date | 12:31:38, November 25, 2006 CET | From | HSP (Hobrazian Socialist Party) | To | Debating the Introducing constituencial segregation policies |
Message | The HSP is based on the fundamental notion of equality - as such we reject a policy that delegates the option of segregation to anyone. |
