Voting deadline: February 2322

Description[?]:

In order for the word of the Lord Hoba through the teachings of the One True Voice, Alan be Praised, to be brought to all the peoples of the Republic, the Government will here enact that Hobaism will be accepted as the only one and true religion of the Republic.
However, accepting that many have already accepted the teachings of the false Gods we shall encourage the children of Hobrazia to follow the Lord Hoba by hereby enacting that there shall be daily teacher led prayers, spoken from the Book of Hoba through the teachings of the One True Voice, Alan be Praised. Unto this end the Government will provide all relevent materials to the schools, including miniature volumes of the Book of Hoba to be provided to each child.

Alan be Praised.

MessageDid you have a stroke? Anyways, if we did have a religion to be our state, it would be the Hobrazian Orthodox Church. Silly heathens.

MessageWe like the current policies, religion has no place in schools as it forces beliefs on the young of our nation.

MessageWe could support two or three state religions. The three religions that are explicitly Hobrazian in character are the Cult of Alan, the Hobrazian Orthodox Church, and the indigenous religion of Hoba/spirits.

MessageWe would gladly accept any religion that can strengthen the morals of the youth in our nation equal to our political stance on moral. We would also be glad to only accept that religion.

Message@CSP - Why would we accept religions that are not inkeeping with Lord Hoba and the word of the One True Voice, Alan be Praised. Accepting more than one State religion would mean we accepted other religions to be on a par with our Lord Hoba, which would be plain wrong wouldn't it.

MessageNo, it wouldn't be plain wrong. The Hobrazian Orthodox Church has long been in operation and is thoroughly Hobrazian in character. What would be so wrong with a co-state religion? Christianity is on par withe the One True Voice, so Lord Hoba will just have to deal with it.

OOC: Several RL states have more than one. Lebanon has three!

MessageBut if the true path to enlightenment is to follow the Lord Hoba through the teachings of the One True Voice, Alan be Praised, then would not acknowledging that the Christian Orthodox Church is on a par with our Lord merely reduce the status of our Lord or make it more difficult for our people to choose the correct path?
