MessageWe oppose this bill; guns can cause nothing but harm and official government statistics from Canada and the UK, where gun ownership is restricted, show that keeping guns generally unavailable greatly reduces violent crime when compared to countries with almost no restrictions on guns like the US.

Plus, we really don't want another Hungerford or Dunblane.

MessageActually, violent crime statics are about the same per capita in the U.S. and U.K., it's only crimes involving guns that increase, and keeping a gun is regulated but perfectly legal in mos of Canada.
