Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2331
Description[?]:
A army made up of volunteers is far more efficient then one which includes those forced to be there. Due to our declaration of neutrality and our philosophy of personal freedom, there should be no mandatory military or civilian service. |

Message | Our army is all volunteer. The national service requires that all citizens over 21, who are not in school, serve 2 years in a field of national service OR enter the military. Given that the 'field of national service' encompasses a wide range of civilian employment, it's slightly deceptive to claim that our army is made of conscripts. We have made the case for required public service before, and it stands on its own merits. |
