Message | Additionally we should work on developing each Wilayah somewhat. Currently I am thinking: Itaki is heavily urbanized (with a density more then twice that of the others) Shipping as one of the major industries. It is the most technologically advanced Wilayah. It is one of the major entry locations into the nation for travellers. Current City: Greabok (largest in Malivia) some other names could include: Kunta, Jasabandar Walkunia is mountainous, rural, and technologically backwards. It is the hardest to have governmental programs reach. Lots of subsidence farming and sheep herding. Mining and logging also popular. Large sources of untapped land and resources. Current City: Maliv other suggestions: Utera, Duntia Polkana: highlands dropping off to nice beaches on the western shore. Tourism capital. Current City: Serdica Suggested cities: Meja Dendars: farmland, some port cities No current cities Suggested names: Kapel Washibar: urban areas devoted to finance, government, high tech and other cleanish industries. current city: Syene (capital) |

Message | Dendars- Marquardt City-Named after Ann Marquardt, the founding mother of the MDP in 2116, which is extremely popular in the Dendars provice, as the last two elections, the MDP carried Dendars by 67 and 70% respectively. Kapel, Shiloshi, Parrotsburg. |

Message | I'm assuing this is an OOC thread. Given that the Malivian ethnicity is based on Malaysian/Indonesian inluences, names like Shiloshi and Parrotsburg are too foreign. I'm also against naming cities after any party leader, or we'd have Vygotsky Town in Itaki and Romano City in Washibar. I'm for adding new cities, and or the general character of the wilayah's laid out. PP's city names work for me; I'll hit some translators tonight or tomorrow and dig up some additions as well. |

Message | I do not see the problem with naming a few cities after party leaders, as that is not unheard of, and is done , for example while George Washington was not a party leader, he was a political leader. If other parties do not want to name a few cities after political leaders, that is their right. I'm certainly not going to object to names other parties come up with on their own. Considering we have 5 wilayahs..for a total of 20 cities, and I think 6 parties, I propose each current Malivian party get to name at least 3 of their choice. |

Message | My objection to that idea is trying to keep a consistant background for the entire nation. An occasional odd name can be explained through colonization or something. 18 names without a unified approach is not going to work. That said I don't have anything specific against naming a city after a political figure, but feel that it should be a) modified to fit in with the style of the other cities b) a major actor in Malivian history, such as past HoS or general (if we had wars), etc |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
