These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:

Message | I agree that individuals shouldn't be stopped from placing substances in their own bodies in an ideal society. But what the SLP has reservations over is the impact of this on the children of addicts. It is not the state' sobligation to protect people from themselves, but we do have the responsibility to ensure each child grows up in a loving, healthy and nurturing environment. That is why the SLP will be opposing this bill |

Message | We support this however we suggest that article 2 be changed to "There are no laws regulating what citizens can put into their bodies." if others agree. |
Date | 03:19:39, December 14, 2006 CET | From | Indrala Harmony Party | To | Debating the Freedom of stoning bill |
Message | In response to SLP: the IHP feels that there is no difference in the child neglect that would be caused by recreational drug usage and that which is caused by other means of recreation, like mass media. To the WLI: we have considered your modification and will introduce it into the bill. |

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer. |
