Bill: New Horizons Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Centrica

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2329

Description[?]:

Interstatia wishes to increase Tukarali's presence on the global stage by easing passport restrictions on our citizens in order to allow growth in international travel. We also wish for foreign nationals wanting to take up residence in our great nation, to be assessed on individual merit, again allowing for increased cross border travel.

We believe the opening up of our nation to the world will result in new creative ideas and practices coming to the country. This will serve to benefit our level of economic growth and spread the word about Tukarali to the world - increasing commercial and industrial investment and development.

MessageWe shall oppose both measures. We could be persuaded on Article 2 but Article 1 we will most definitely oppose. We must know the type of people that are going abroad to make sure they are not going to be duing dubious things on someone else's turf.
