Message | We are near a conflict, we NEED those... at least for a while... |
Date | 14:07:10, December 15, 2006 CET | From | Existentialist Movement | To | Debating the ExM Military Reform, June 2329 |
Message | Nobody "NEEDS" that cheap and cowardly kind of weaponry. We could prioritize other kinds of war equipment. Also the article 1 allows to develop the technology, so in real "NEED" we could produce some if the condition is truly so inescapable. |
Date | 14:15:48, December 15, 2006 CET | From | Capitalist Party of Egelion | To | Debating the ExM Military Reform, June 2329 |
Message | EM, what if we were in grave trouble? Would normal guns and tanks work then? No, we don't stand a chance without this form of weaponry. |

Message | Also, these steps would equalize the stance to different weapons of mass destruction as we already have in our legislation similar (and totally sensible) point concerning nuclear weaponry: "The policy with respect to nuclear weaponry. The nation shall never purchase, produce, or store nuclear weaponry, for military purposes. Research and development of the technology is permitted." |
Date | 14:21:43, December 15, 2006 CET | From | Existentialist Movement | To | Debating the ExM Military Reform, June 2329 |
Message | How could we come into a grave trouble, if sufficient funding to "normal" weaponry exists. Also if agressors use that kind of weaponry could give as a good argument on international diplomatic front when looking for allies. |
