Bill: Media Regulation Parity
Details
Submitted by[?]: Leviathan Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2331
Description[?]:
Our content regulations, extremely loose as they may be, are made for the Malivian viewer, not producer of television programs. There is no reason to punish Malivian broadcasters by saddling them with regulations we don't apply to foreign companies. |

Date | 18:24:34, December 18, 2006 CET | From | Leviathan Party | To | Debating the Media Regulation Parity |
Message | Does the MDP even bother to stay current with Malivian laws? They are, after all, posted for any to see. Domestic media does in deed have some very loose, senisible regulations that we are proposing to extend to all media shown in the country, regardless of national source. |
