Current: The government maintains a system of universities nationwide.
Proposed: The government maintains a system of universities, vocational schools, and colleges nationwide.

Old value:: The government does not fund any public higher education institutions, permitting only private higher education institutions to exist.
Current: The government allows private higher education but regulates it to meet nationally set standards.

Old value:: The government introduces means tested loans for higher education tuition, to be paid back by students after earnings reach a certain amount.

Message | Point A: There is a large amount of money to be spent on schools. Point B: Egelion's hegemony can only exist with a large amount of education. A smart society is a prospering one. Therefore: Article 1,2: Higher education brings a higher amount of intelligence, and therefore is key to heg. Article 3: We must allow poor people to go to school, too. Article 4: Kids must not have to pay for their education, it should be public. |
