Whereas We are still bothered, as we are, by the monopolistic phone companies' gouging consumers, and Whereas, We firmly believe that everybody should be able to afford phone service, and Whereas, We continue to desire to simply supply free phone lines to all Likatonians but that has been rebuffed, We therefore propose to regulate telephone rates and to subsidize poor Likatonians in paying their telephone bills. |
