Message | I beg your pardon? If you are reffering to the head of state being the only one who can propose a cabinet this is because it has had 100% public support for many other years. We have no fear of the left getting their act together. |

Message | Having a Head of State as the only proposer of cabinets would lead to constitutional meltdown. If a party had the HoS but lost control of the legislature we'd spemnd a full term in limbo with no-one able to propose and pass new government and therefore the old one would carry one in the minority even though it had been rejected by the voters. The whole point of having a Head of State seperate from the Head of Government is to let the people decide who they want to be the public, but rather powerless, face of their nation and also let them decide who they want to run their country. |
