Message | A baby is a life not a choice! I agree. I see abortion as murder. Also, abortion can effect the health of the pregnant woman. For example, one of the most serious cases is when a young girl, about 15 was getting an abortion, but instead of pulling out the baby, they pulled out the bladder. They had to perform emergency surgery and she can never use the bathroom the regular way again. |

Message | I support this, Abortion is bad. No human observes the right to play God and decide who's born and who isn't. Reproduction should be left to nature and natural selection. |

Message | "Abortion are illegal." Abortion is not illegal. Abortion may be immoral from your point of view but it is not illegal. You may want to *make it* illegal. Start to understand the distinction between the two terms. "I see abortion as murder." That's a nice inflammatory statement with no merit whatsoever. Murder is the ending of a human being's life at the hands of another. There is no doubt in my mind that a fetus is not a human being. A human potential, perhaps, but not a being in any sense of the word. "Also, abortion can effect the health of the pregnant woman Pregnancy can negatively affect the health of a pregnant woman too. Amazing. "For example, one of the most serious cases is when a young girl, about 15 was getting an abortion, but instead of pulling out the baby, they pulled out the bladder." Got a reference for that that doesn't come from a chain email? Obviously, your understanding of female anatomy is subpar. There is no "connection", if you will, between the uterus and the bladder. Short of using a chainsaw, I fail to see how it is possible that actually happened. Further, don't you think that having abortions in clean, safe, government approved medical facilties with certified and trained doctors is a lot better than some bikie using a coathanger in the backyard? Prohibit this and you'll just drive it underground, making everyone a lot less safe. Use a bit of foresight. "No human observes the right to play God and decide who's born and who isn't." Medical procedures daily decide whether people will live or die. How is this any different or should we pack up our hospitals and revert to stone age medicine so we don't "play God"? "Reproduction should be left to nature" Reproduction is being left to nature. By definition, nature is all that exists. Humans exists, therefore, any human activity is "natural". |

Message | First of all, that is you're definition of murder. And second, it did not come from a chain email, it came from a reliable newspaper. And what are you, a Gynecologist? |

Message | Wait, ALL abortions are illegal? I can't support that, Exceptions should be if the mother's life is in danger. |

Message | "And what are you, a Gynecologist?" No but I'm also not an idiot. Care to name the newspaper, its date of publication and the article? |

Message | Let us consult a diagram: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Fem_isa_2.gif Clearly, the bladder is connected to the general vulva region, along with the vagina. However, the route to the uterus, where the baby ferments for nine months, is through the vagina, not the uretha, the way to the bladder. From personal experience, the uretha cannot be mistaken for the vagina. I fail to see how a properly trained medical professional could make such an error. A bikie with a backyard clinic on the other hand... |
