Whereas, Current law places no restrictions at all on foreign investments in private companies, and Whereas, We see that as unlikely to be changed, and Whereas, Along with having only private defense industries this has the potential to place Likatonia in a position where foreigners own all our defense industries and cannot be counted on if we were to need them, We hereby propose that private defense industries continue to exist, but that we also have publicly owned defense industries, in case we, for whatever reasons, cannot get what we want from the private ones at reasonable prices. |
