MessagePrivate Security firms? We really dont think this is a good idea. We believe it is more inefficent than either a National or Provincial force. These security peoples first loyalty will not be to the State or the People but to their particular employer.
We urge the IP to reconsider this provision.

MessageYes, but greed drives loyalty to the state. The security firms need the governments money, and the mercenaries need the firms money. So the firm won't go against the government, and therfore neither will the mercs.

The above was a double post

MessageWe support with 1,2,3 but disagree with Article 4. We believe in a State controlled Police force to watch the people at all times.

MessageWe would ask the Industrialist Party to tell us more about the proposed system in Article 4, my party may be swayed.

MessageWell basically the idea is as old as time. There are people who are willing to work for an ideal as long as they are payed. Saying that they would go against Kanjor is as idiotic as saying that the national police force will rebel against the state. These people will be fine and outstanding citizens, the government will make sure that the security firms will check backgrounds etc. These people would only need to be where put, like maybe swat teams or something, because we will have the military acting as a defacto police force anyway. This saves the government some expediture, as the firms will lower prices so they get the deal. it's a win win situation.

MessageArticle One is reasonable, however Article Two is questionable. How late is the curfew (2:00 A.M for example) and how will it improve security? A reasoning behind this article would be nice. I also agree with the Patriotique de Kanjor party on Article Four, because private security firms have the potential to provide insufficient security. At the very least, these firms should have background checks and/or inspections before they are hired...

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current.
