Bill: ¡Fisticuffsmanship!

Details

Submitted by[?]: Indirect Action Arm

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2344

Description[?]:

Kalistan's been boring as long as I've been here. I say we have a civil war, that ought to liven things up!

Two sides: the Old Guard (led by the RFP) and Young Turks, except not turks because this isn't Turkey. Whatever, you get the idea, led by the PAK and PFK. For this to really explode into combat, we need unanimous consent from all parties for this RP. It would also help if we used this topic to declare sides, since that's unclear. This includes declaring whose side the actual military is on.

If we do go through with this, it should go without saying that your areas of support are based on the areas that voted for you in the last election.

I encourage everyone to support this, even if you intend to be neutral in the conflict, simply because we're all pretty much on the same side of the political spectrum and without this there won't be anything to do.

MessageI think there's still a lot of fun craziness we can do short of open, violent civil war. Let's work from here for a while, with what we're doing, and if we want, we can always have a civil war later.-

For Kalistan!

MessageI'm still going to put this to vote so that, when we do decide to do it, we have the option already available.

I'm also going to start an anti-RFP org

MessageAgain, I think that some sort of low scale uprising or unrest would be more realistic in this situation.

MessageI will support this with the idea that at least for the time being, it will be low-scale uprising and unrest.

If we go to open civil war, that will require a separate bill.

MessageI think it would probably be more interesting to RP a period of open hostility, politically, and eventually have the country descend into civil war, rather than launch into one immediately. However, if the majority vote in favour, we'll go along with it.

MessageIt looks like there is a growing majority supporting civil war whether immediately or eventually. It also seems that if we agree to unrest, it will eventually erupt into open civil war without any possibility of avoiding the carnage.

Whether IC or OOC we can't avoid this it appears.

Random fact: The voters enjoy active parties who take upon themselves the initiative to create laws.

Random quote: "Colonialism or imperialism, as the slave system of the West is called, is not something that is just confined to England or France or the United States. The interests in this country are in cahoots with the interests in France and the interests in Britain. It's one huge complex or combine, and it creates what's known not as the American power structure or the French power structure, but an international power structure. This international power structure is used to suppress the masses of dark-skinned people all over the world and exploit them of their natural resources." Malcolm X
