Bill: Defence Industry Act of 2344

Details

Submitted by[?]: Democratic Party of Dorvik

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2345

Description[?]:

By allowing private defence industries, we enable high level of weapon development and create more jobs for the people due to competition and exportation of weapons for close associate nations. Private sector is more efficient when it comes to development and production of weapons or any products for that matter. The state would still have its own weapons industry so we would retain our supply security even during times of crisis and during war time, private weapon industries could be strictly regulated if necessary.

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining.

Random quote: "Aristocracy and exclusiveness tend to final overthrow, in language as in politics." - W. D. Whitney
