MessageThis sounds too much like an overbearing "big brother" type government, poking its nose into peoples' private business if you ask me.

MessageWhy would anyone want a potentially dangerous animal as a pet? That sounds a bit too much like "libertarianism" (e.g. anarchy).

MessageThere is separate legislation regarding dangerous animals - as I'm sure you well know!

MessageOur sincere apologies to the CJP - I believed I was writing a response to one of the more experienced parties. There is separate legislation regarding dangerous animals, which is already robust. This bill relates to non-dangerous "exotic" animals (i.e. non-native species of dog, cat and rodent, tropical fish, etc). We urge you to reconsider.
