MessageThis is an utter waste of money. We would have to coerce masses of money of of people to pay for these schools when parents would much rather their kids go to the independent schools anyway. Some may even find that with the increased tax burden they are unable to afford school fees and have to resort to these awful state schools. We urge the CJP to reconsider!

MessageWhy should the state not provide schooling to the children of those who cannot afford a suitable private school? (I grew up in a country where virtually all schools are public funded and the education system is excellent).

MessageThe CJP make a valid point, but 'the government issues vouchers to pay for the schooling of disadvantaged children'. That's free schooling at independent schools - far better than the state attempting to run schools (something they have always proven to be very bad at!)
