MessageThe law as it stands is only in use if the Chancellor, Minister of Defense and the Minister of the Interior (or 2 of the 3) agree to a State of Emergency (as per the Public Security Act - 2343)

We should keep this current law in place in case the IAA or other groups decide to stir up strife again.

- It should be noted that the State of Emergency declared at the time of the Provisional Government was dissolved with the voluntary dissolution of the Provisional Government in September of 2346.

So to clarify - there is no current State of Emergency and therefore no curfews in effect in the country.

Hon. J.S. Woodsworth, MP (Eshar - The Beaches)
Minister of Defense

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections.

Random quote: "Politics is perhaps the only profession for which no preparation is thought necessary." - Robert Louis Stevenson
