Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2347
Description[?]:
We propose that prostitution be fully legalised and integrated into the current Unionised labour market. This would involve several features: 1. Allow Creation of brothels. The state can then register and control the prostitutes medically and so control the spread of disease. Pimps would be eliminated. Prostitutes could be charged a viable rent they in turn would charge an agreed rate for their services. 2. The state would charge them with sending in a proper tax return. |
Proposals
Article 1

Message | We agree that legalization of prostitution would decrease crime: prostitution happens even when it's illegal and just causes more crime. We also agree that legal prostitution would bring tax money for the state, but it must be strictly regulated and be out from the public eye in order to protect the children & common moral. Advertising of prostitution must be prohibited. Under these conditions, we support this bill. |
