MessageThis is necessary to re-establish due to the fact that such a channel will increase civic participation and awareness, which is a very important factor in maintaining a vibrant democracy. Also, this channel can be used as before to alot proportional amounts of media time to political parties in order to inform voters during elections cycles.

MessageA public radio staion is all wel and good, but having a public television station is also vital to maintaining an informed and civically aware society. Don't sell democracy social responsibility out for so-called "less government".
