Bill: National Park Act of 2351
Details
Submitted by[?]: Moderate Republican Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2352
Description[?]:
Current legislation allows local governments to form their own park policies. However, some provinces may be more environmental than others and have more provincial parks. The matter of parks should be handled by the national government, because it creates a system of national parks that all Cildanians can enjoy. This proposed legislation allows the national government to fund and maintain a network of national parks and marine areas. The Moderate Republican Party believes this bill will help preserve types of species native to Cildania by enclosing areas of our nation as “safe-havens” to wildlife. Current: The government devolves park policy to local governments. Proposed: The government funds and maintains a network of national parks and/or marine protected areas. |
