This press message was released by the Government of the Republic of Telamon.
As of today, the government of Lodamun has officially severed all diplomatic ties with the Republic of Telamon. Following their sweeping rejection of the treaty of friendship, Lodamun's Foreign Affairs Minister, Rich Reynolds, recalled all Lodamunese ambassadors from Telamon.
Telamon's response will be firm. I have already recalled our ambassadors from Lodamun and have requested that all Telamonian citizens currently in the country of Lodamun return to Telamon. This ministry has no intention of re-opening diplomatic relations with the United Republics of Lodamun for as long as President Jonathan Davis' ungratefully isolationist administration holds office.
I regret to announce that the days of peaceful cooperation with our former ally have come to an abrupt end, but the message behind the actions of the Lodumanese leadership is unmistakable. They are no longer interested in good relations with Telamon, and so we are forced to move on. We will not dwell on their abandonment, and will instead insure that their actions are final.
Although our alliance with Lodamun has disastrously imploded, other positive and productive alliances lie just over the horizon with the neighboring nations of Endralon and Trigunskaya. We believe our future foreign relations with these countries are promising as they have already demonstrated and exceptional willingness to cooperate.
Signed,
Kirk Morrison
Foreign Affairs Minister
Republic of Telamon
