This press message was released by the Government of the Republic of Aloria.
The Right wing Coalition stays in power but but expands. A much reduced Government lost 183 Seats in the January elections. Almost exactly half their seats. This surprise election result necessitated the Inclusion of a fourth party in the Coalition , the surprise winners of the election the Royal Conservative Party. The Government maintains a small majority of 21 seats but this is down from the previous height of a 119 seat super majority.
Expect less government legislation to be passed this term due to the small working majority. Internationally though the position of Aloria in world affairs and our foreign policy should remain the same.
The President will remain James Kozloff who will be serving his third term. The Presidential election was much more of a one sided affair as the two right wing candidates comfortably made the second round. Kozloff beat Boris De Pheffel Johnson in the Second round
This result means the next elections in Aloria will be very hotly contested and the result much more in the balance. Though it's expected the Right should win the presidency again, forming a government after could be much more challenging.
