An opinion poll was held among the citizens of the Jomhūrī-ye Eslāmī-ye Sahel (Solentia). The subject of the opinion poll was Government policy towards smoking. When asked what their opinions were, the following choices were made:

11.89% | Smoking is legal everywhere, at the discretion of the property owner, but is illegal in government-owned buildings. |
5.74% | Smoking is legal everywhere, at the discretion of the property owner. However, service/employer property owners that allow smoking must provide a separate non-smoking section. |
4.60% | Smoking is legal outdoors and in private homes and clubs, but illegal indoors in places of employment, with the exception of places that primarily serve liquor. |
4.58% | Smoking is legal outdoors and in private homes and clubs, but illegal indoors in all places of employment. |
5.68% | Smoking is only allowed in private homes and clubs. |
6.85% | Smoking is prohibited. |
35.44% | Smoking regulations are to be determined by local governments. |
