Description[?]:
The Selucian National Party, also known as the Selucian National Quorum, was founded in 3757 as a socially conservative, socialist-leaning political party by Mathos Tullia. The party's initial platform was focused on anti-immigration policies, economic protectionism, and pro-nationalist reforms. It's social platform, however, has become increasingly more centrist. Mr. Tullia's personal appeal to voters was his "everyman" persona, an individual they could actually relate with. In 3776, John Astegal replaced Mr. Tullia as party leader. He continued the party's populist/centrist social policies with the party now primarily being concerned with anti-devolution legislation (in most situations) and pro-socialist, pro-regulatory reforms. 3790 saw the party's first election win under the leadership of Mr. Astegal. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
