Description[?]:
---------------------------------Manifesto--------------------------------- Cooperative Economy We believe in a cooperative economy, where the Zardic people work together to meet our shared needs, and advance our quality of life. We believe this will be achieved through the grassroot democratization of workplaces and cooperative ownership – by building cooperatives, credit unions, communes, and workers councils. We believe this bath provides the greatest means to generate shared prosperity and oppose undemocratic programs to centralize economic control by either the state or private interests. Social Equity We believe in a society based on social equality and equity. All humans are born equal in worth, dignity and should receive equal potential to enjoy full and healthy lives. To this end, we support advancing access to healthcare, education, employment, security and economic safety. We further believe in the expansion of democratic rights and personal liberties, and namely support the right to family, the freedom of and from religion, expression, association, sexuality and reproduction. Environmental Protection We believe in the intrinsic value of our country’s natural heritage, biodiversity and natural resources; we owe a duty to future generations of our nation to ensure our current development does not compromise their ability to enjoy these resources. We resolutely stand to advance an innovative sustainable development path that will distinguish Zardugal’s economy and society from all others on Terra, based on renewable energy and high efficiency, reinvesting and reordering our cities, and build new competitive industries and rethinking old ones. Participative and Democratic Reform We believe that the process of democratizing Zardugal requires a greater sharing of powers and inclusion. We believe local communities are most capable in determining and developing their own solutions, while in a cooperative federation the use of federal standards ensure all Zardic people enjoy similar rights and access to services. Progressive Nationalism Our movement believes in the Zardic nation as the fundamental constituent of the Zardic state. Our nation is progressive in nature, based on our shared Augustan language and common respect for democracy, human rights and equality. Our shared intent to live together and support one another binds us all together to create a nation that is more than the sum of its parts. Our progressive nationalism defends our unique language, values and the democratic expression of the nation through its sovereignty. We oppose any attempts to end the republic and our national sovereignty. ---------------------------------Party Collectives--------------------------------- ---------------------------------Past Leaders--------------------------------- Laŭrenco Dionisio (4313 - 4331) Ludoviko Fabio (4331 - 4339) |

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
Random quote: "The moral justification of capitalism does not lie in the altruist claim that it represents the best way to achieve 'the common good.' It is true that capitalism does, if that catch-phrase has any meaning, but this is merely a secondary consequence. The moral justification for capitalism lies in the fact that it is the only system consonant with man's rational nature, that it protects man's survival qua man, and that its ruling principle is justice." - Ayn Rand |
