Description[?]:
Beluzia has quivered under the jackboot of socialism for far too long. As the excesses of the system became apparent a thirst for freedom and a return to tradition have risen within the people. They have rallied around Massimo Nardovino IV, great grandson of Minister of Defense and paramilitary leader Massimo Nardovino. As Massimo runs for Chariman of the union, he keeps himself busy by running the party and (allegedly) its paramilitary wing, the National Republican Army (NRA). the National Renewal Party lays out the following principles to inform its positions: -Beluzia cannot return to its position in Terra without overthrowing the shackles of socialism. -The Traditional free market principles of Beluzia must be restored. -The freedoms of the people of Beluzia must be restored. -Beluzia's position within the world must be secured. -A strong Nationalist-Liberal government is needed to do the above. The program of the National Renewal Party is as follows: -Restore national pride by restoring its name to "The Federal Republic of Beluzia" and rename other things to match the traditional names of the pre-socialist period. -Restore the traditional practice of whaling, which has only been so important to Beluz history. -Reverse all socialist laws and allow a permissive capitalism with local regulation in some cases. -Abrogate all treaties that threaten Beluz Independence. -Embark upon a program of Militarism to secure the Beluz Nation. -Establish NRP's (alleged) Paramilitary Wing, the NRA, as the official armed forces and guarantor of the liberties of Beluzia. Party Leaders: Massimo Nardovino IV (4684-) |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
Random quote: "The state is nothing but an instrument of oppression of one class by another, no less so in a democratic republic than in a monarchy." - John Smith |
