Azatutyun/Libertas Liberty Founded: 4882 Political Position: Right-Libertarian _______________________________________________________________ Aztatutyun/Libertas is a libertarian electoral alliance of two parties founded in 4882. Azatutyun and Libertas are two libertarian political parties representing the two biggest ethnicity groups in Pontesi. Azatutyun representing the Arev Mardik and Libertas representing the Seluco-Ponteans. While the parties have very similar platforms, they are still two separate political parties due to ethnic, cultural and linguistic differences but there have been calls for a merger in order to overcome ethnic differences and focus on advancing liberty and democracy in Pontesi. Both of the parties have platforms supporting basic libertarian ideals like the expansion of economic freedoms and personal liberties, minimal government intervention and free trade. Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
