Description[?]:
Also known as the Englar Peoples' Party, the Aldegarian Populist Party (APP) was formed in 2240 by founder, chairman and presidential hopeful Jerold Hagner. The APP's main goal is to establish a utopian society where there is no crime, no environmental chaos, no drug abuse, a strong Aldegarian military and the establishment of an Englarian national identity. The APP strongly adhere's to Christianity, the religion of the Englarians, and English, the language of the Englarians. The APP realizes a moral and orderly society is the best way to bring about everlasting peace and prosperity. The APP also adheres strongly toward the advancement of science, medicine and technology as a means of fully understanding our existence and recognizes them as the sole purpose of knowledge. We fight for a socialist society where money and big business take a back seat to education and the spirit. Position goals: Centralization................................Unitarism Civil Rights....................................Restrictive Ecology..........................................Environmentalist Foreign Relations........................Isolationalism Government Responsibilities...Big Government Market............................................Regulation Military............................................Aggressive Morality..........................................Conservative Religion.........................................Fanatic PARTY WINGS AND ORGANIZATIONS --------------- Right-wing (65% of party) --------------- The Right-wing has a concentrated agenda of socialist reform combined with social morality. It also fights for the Englarian people above all others. --------------- Left-wing (35%) --------------- The Left-wing is economically communist and is also socially moral. Many Communialists reside in this wing. They claim to fight for all groups equally. Wing Relations: The left-wingers have been accussed of being Stalinists by the right-wingers. Although, in return, the left-wingers accuss the right-wingers as national socialists and fascists. Regardless of this animosity both wings work together as leaders of the party. The right-wingers currently have a strong advantage and will, for the foreseeable future, be deciding much of the parties agenda. Organization: Englarian People's League (EPL) is a league that resides within the right-wing organization that pushes for legislation and social action on behalf of the Engarlian people. This organization is called racist by members of the left-wing. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
