Description[?]:
The Union of Democratic Socialists (previously the Social Responsibility Party) is a primarily left-leaning, anti-authoritarian party, with its main emphasis on social aid for the needy and restriction of corporate influence on politics. The party campaigns for accountability and transparency within the government, and is committed to the welfare of those citizens who, through no fault of their own, require assistance from the state. The Party also opposes the stockpiling of nuclear armaments, supports a nationwide free healthcare system, and recognises the necessity of constraints on businesses who would abuse the nation and its populace. |
