Description[?]:
The Al-Ḥizb Al-Waṭanī Ad-Dīmūqrāṭī or National Democratic Party (NDP) is a centrist, populist party formed to combat the chronic lawlessness and instability in Jakania. It was formed as a strategic alliance between local elders, warlords, military officers, business interests, and members of the elite and upper class. Its prime objectives are to create a stable, and peaceful state which will respect the wealth and power of its shareholders. It aims to accomplish this by restricting political participation to the upper class and members of the largely minority elite. |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
Random quote: "The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary." - H. L. Mencken |
